SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR RSO SITE SURVEY - KUWAIT CITY


1. This is an action request. In anticipation of Department
of Homeland Security (DHS) interviews of refugees, the Bureau
of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) and DHS US
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) request that RSO
provide a security evaluation of the processing site.


2. Please evaluate the office of UNHCR Kuwait located at
Khaitan Area Block No. 04, Al walid Ebin Abdel,
Malek Street No. 206, Building No. 90009, Kuwait City,
Kuwait. (Telephone 965 4764982). We anticipate that
interviews of approximately 35 cases (80 individuals) will
take place from May 11-15, involving a team of two
USCIS officers. Additional interview dates will be
scheduled as needed.


3. If RSO Kuwait has any questions about the proposed
survey, please contact PRM's Admissions Refcoord Mary Doetsch
at doestchmp@state.gov or PRM Program Officer Liz Harris at
harrisej@state.gov.


4. This request is made in conjunction with DS/IP/NEA.


5. Department appreciates Post's assistance and requests
survey completion by May 1.
