CUMBER VISIT



1. Special Envoy Sada Cumber wishes to express his sincere
appreciation for the efforts and support of the American and
Locally Employed Staff at Consulate General Jeddah during his
March 4-5 visit to meet with the Secretary General of the OIC.


2. Given the short notice of this visit, Special Envoy Cumber
was impressed with the efficiency of Consulate General
Jeddah. He would like to personally thank Anne Slack and
Consul General Gfoeller for their assistance in arranging the
meetings. It was a highly successful visit.


3. Given the productivity of this first meeting, we
anticipate continued relations with the OIC Secretary General
and will continue to seek the generous guidance and
assistance of Consulate General Jeddah.
