1. Post conducted a site visit to verify the bona fides of
Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd. Paul Wallace, Buyer
for Singapore Technologies Electronics, provided Emboff with
a copy of purchase order EJP2805/13 dated December 10, 2007.
Wallace confirmed that the order for PRC-77 Radio (Portable)
components, once received, will be used by the end user
listed on the application, Singapore Army Defence Science &
Technology. He affirmed his understanding of the prohibition
against re-exporting or retransfer of these goods.
2. Singapore Technologies Electronics appeared to employ
adequate safety measures, including controlled entry through
badges for its employees and security guards present on the
premises.
3. Singapore Technologies Electronics is a subsidiary of ST
Engineering, a publicly listed company in which Temasek, the
Singapore Government's holding company, owns a majority
interest.
