1. Per reftel, post coordinated with the Joint U.S. Military
Affairs Group (JUSMAG) regarding pre-license application
05-050082328. JUSMAG contacted the Defense Acquisition Program
Administration (DAPA) by phone and fax.
2. On February 5, 2008 Mr. Jin Won Gyoon, of the International
Contracts Department at DAPA verified receipt of the 312 Screw
Assemblies, A4072-1, from KayHan Systems Company. The screw
assemblies were used in the logistical support of AH-1S Attack
Helicopters for the ROK Marine Corps.
3. DAPA and Mr. Go Young Suk, the Local Agent for KayHan Systems
Company based in Canada, informed JUSMAG that the company is listed
as a DAPA "Offshore Procurement Company." [Note: Offshore
Procurement Companies are DAPA-registered firms that are allowed to
purchase and supply the ROKAF, Navy and Army; they can are
authorized to purchase necessary items from overseas.] Over the last
four years KayHan has supplied various parts to the ROK Military.
4. Requested documentation to follow by email to PM/DTCC - Judd
