1. (C) We delivered reftel demarche on September 3 to
Minister Counselor Sanja Kenig-Corovic, MFA Head of
Department for the UN and other International Organizations.
Ms. Kenig-Corovic informed us that her government would take
a position on each of the human righs issues addressed by
the UNGA Third Committee sortly before they are voted upon.
She stated tha Bosnia's final position on Third Committee
issue would take the U.S. view into serious consideratin,
but would also be heavily influenced by the European Union
position. Ms. Kenig-Corovic told us that Bosnia had taken a
neutral position on the Defamation of Religions issue in the
OIC and would likely remain neutral in the Third Committee.
