1. Pursuant to refetl, Embassy submitted on June 9, 2008,
Diplomatic Note No. 103, regarding the Global Peace
Operations Initiative. Embassy had previously received
verbal consent from the Dominican Armed Forces and
understands that submission of this note does not require a
formal, substantive response from the Dominican government.
Embassy will nevertheless immediately inform should such a
response be received.
