On November 7, Ambassador Fannin delivered Reftel talking
points on the no-action motions and the resolutions on Iran,
Burma and the DPRK to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Deputy Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Trullols took our views
on board. He said he would share our concerns with Carlos
Morales Troncoso, the Foreign Minister, when he returns to
the country. Trullols mentioned that he spoke with the
Canadian Ambassador November 6 and that this matter is at the
top of his list to discuss with Troncoso. We will report any
subsequent Dominican response.
