plant and timber products to Jorge Guzman, Director of the
CAFTA-DR office, Ministry of Economy, on December 4. Guzman
replied that the Government of El Salvador was aware of
amendments to the Lacey Act but had not yet seen enough
detail. Guzman said the government would study the APHIS
website and new forms, analyze the impact on Salvadoran
exports, and offer comments before April
