1. On May 6, we delivered refel demarche to Juan Salas, UNSC
Desk Officer at the MFA. Salas commented that he had also
received a letter from Spain on the subject. Due to a state
visit by the Chinese Vice Premier, the MFA had been tied up
in meetings, and Salas stated he would review the matter and
get back to us the next day.
2. In a follow-up call to Salas on May 7, Salas stated that
he had talked to the GOCR Mission to the UN in New York,
which was analyzing the resolution; no decision has been
made. Post will advise when/if we receive a more detailed
response.
