to Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs Western Affairs Director
Ra'ad Krimley on July 2. Krimley informed us he was aware of
the invitation for the SAG to attend the July 11 Kosovo
Donor's Conference in Brussels, adding that the Kosovars
themselves had asked the Saudis to attend. While he did not
commit the SAG to participating in this event, he did comment
that he "had not thought it would take this long to recognize
Kosovo." Should the Saudis elect to attend the Brussels
conference, it will likely not be announced until one or two
days before the event.
