SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING FOR US-SPONSORED
TRAINING: WARRIOR LEADER AND INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE II,
FORT BENNING, GA, DECEMBER 31, 2008 - FEBRUARY 24, 2009


1. (U) Post requests the Department's assistance in
screening the following individual from Suriname's Ministry
of Defense, who has been nominated to attend the Warrior
Leader and Instructor Training Course II at Fort Benning,
Georgia from December 31, 2008 through February 24, 2009,
pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act. Post
has conducted local vetting and has found no derogatory
information, pending final result of local RSO investigation.
Post requests assistance in expediting this vetting response
so that the ticket can be issued to the nominee on December
26, 2008.
