1. (SNF) RSO met with COM and DCM. Post has no objections
to M-4 augmentation at our post. DSS ROE and/or MSG
policies, whichever are more stringent, will be rigorously
adhered to and deadly force, alcohol use, storage, transport,
etc. will be addressed. Post has a suitable alarmed vault,
which meets DS standards, to secure the M-4's.
2. (U) The ARSO has had the firearms instructor course
within the last five (5) years. The RSO has had the course
also, but not within the last five (5) years.
3. (SNF) Host country allows easy access to a suitable
range. Host country is amenable to our possession of M-4's,
but a formal request for permission is not necessary/
advisable.
