1. Econoff conveyed reftel non-paper regarding the Global
Initiative (GI) to Combat Nuclear Terrorism planning group
meeting to MFA Legal Advisor Dr. Yousif Abdulkarim April 8.
2. Dr. Abdulkarim reiterated the GOB's support for the GI,
but said he had been unaware of the exercise planning group
meeting. He was unsure as to which two Bahraini officials,
if any, would constitute Bahrain's delegation. He promised
to follow up with the Embassy when he had this information.
