2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements,
this cable forwards the name of eleven (11) Wolesi Jirga members
invited by Rep. David Price and Rep. David Drier to participate in a
House Democracy Assistance Commission (HDAC) program. HDAC will
focus on legislative oversight of the defense and security sector.
Post possesses no derogatory information on these individuals. Post
requests the Department's review of these members by June 9, 2008.
