ON COMPLIANCE WITH NONPROLIFERATION, ARMS LIMITATIONS AND

On September 2, Poloff delivered reftel taking points and a
copy of the U.S. sponsored UNGA resolution on compliance with
nonproliferation, arms limitations and disarmament agreements
to Leila Villatoro, Deputy Director of Multilateral Policy at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Villatoro thanked Poloff
for the talking points and resolution draft. She reiterated
Guatemala's commitment in general to non-proliferation
efforts, and said she would get back to us once Guatemala
decided its position on co-sponsoring the resolution.
