1. (U) Below is the text of a diplomatic note of
congratulations to President-elect Obama from the Embassy of
the Kingdom of Morocco in Dhaka. We will forward the

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Dhaka presents its
compliments to the Embassy of the United States and has the
honor to convey that His Excellency the Ambassador of His
Majesty the King of Morocco, Mr. Mohammed Houroro, is keen to
extend his heartiest felicitations and sincerest
congratulations to His Excellency, James F. Moriarty, on the
election of Mr. Barrack Obama, as the forty fourth President
of the United States of America.

This election constitutes a historical moment for the United
States and the world at large, and proves once more the force
and vitality of Democracy, hoping during this tenure the
privileged existing relations between the Kingdom of Morocco
and the United States will be further strenghthened.

The Embassy of Morocco in Dhaka avails itself of this
opportunity to renew to the esteemed Embassy the assurances
of its highest consideration.
