On June 25, 2008, Post received a letter from the Embassy of the
Republic of Haiti in Benin requesting USG support for Haiti's
candidacy as a member of the Executive Committee of the Pan-American
Health Organization. The letter indicated that election of members
of the Executive Committee will take place in Washington, D.C., June
25-27, 2008, during its 142nd session.
