1. (SBU) Pursuant to REFTEL, ON April 8, Econoff gave a copy of the
draft debt reduction agreement to the point of contact at the
Ministry of Finance, Hamzata Diakite. Mr. Diakite has reviewed the
draft and raised questions about some debt figures in the annex to
the draft. These proposed changes have been provided to the
Department via email for circulation to the respective agencies
concerned. Post is awaiting a response from the agencies concerned
before contacting the Government regarding the proposed changes.
