1. On December 8, ESTH Hub Officer and ESTH FSN delivered
reftel demarche to Dr. Katalin Rodics, Head of the Ministry
of Environment and Water's Department for European Community
Law and Coordination. Rodics welcomed the implementation of
the amended Lacey Act, indicating that the EU is working on
similar regulations.
2. As requested in reftel, ESTH passed the cable to FCS and
FAS representatives at post to share with their contacts as
appropriate.
