As requested in reftel, on April 23 Post delivered the
invitation to the Proliferation Security Initiative Fifth
Anniversary Workshop to the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MFA). Post encouraged Nigeria's participation in
both the workshop and the Initiative. Ambassador Charles
Ononye, Deputy Director First United Nations Division,
received the invitation on the MFA's behalf, and will inform
Post of any decisions made concerning either the workshop or
Nigeria's willingness to join the PSI.
