1. Reftel requested that post conduct a post-shipment verification
at Hamid Reza Pharmaceutical Products Trading LLC, located at 1802
Saeed Tower II, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE for the shipment of a
Hitachi 911 Chemical Analyzer exported as No License Required by
Labworld Inc., Stoughton, MA.
2. On 14 Oct 2008, Export Control Officer (ECO) visited the address
provided in reftel. Saeed Tower II is a residential tower. Suite
1802 had no sign indicating that it was a business and upon entry it
appeared to be a residential apartment converted into a business
with several cubicles in the front living area. ECO was met by
several Iranian males who upon initial contact seemed to have a
vague recollection of a Hamid Reza Pharmaceuticals company. However,
after ECO identified himself as a U.S. Embassy officer they claimed
that they are actually Diplomat Real Estate and have nothing to do
with any Hamid Reza Pharmaceuticals and know nothing about a U.S.
origin chemical analyzer. They were unable to provide any additional
information of value.
3. Based on the circumstances cited above Post considers Hamid Reza
Pharmaceuticals Products Trading to be an unreliable recipient of
U.S. origin items.
