1. (C) Political External Chief delivered Ref A talking
points February 9 to Juliusz Gojlo, Iran/Iraq Team Chief in
the MFA Middle East Africa Department. Gojlo undertook to
distribute the U.S. views to the Polish interagency for
comment, but warned that it could take some time to provide a
response. He noted, however, that FM Anna Fotyga had already
given the Ambassador her strong commitment to effective
implementation of UNSCR 1737 at their January 25 meeting (Ref
B). He was confident that the eventual official response to
this latest demarche would echo Fotyga's statements.
