Lithuania signed the International Convention for the
Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism on September 16,
2005, and ratified it on July 19, 2007. We delivered reftel
points to Martynas Lukosevicius, attache in the MFA's Arms
Control, Non-Proliferation, and Disarmament Division, on July
26. He said he would encourage his counterparts in countries
who have not yet ratified the treaty to do so.
