We delivered reftel points to Martynas Lukosevecius, Attache
in the MFA's Arms Control, Non-proliferation, and Disarmament
Division, on May 21. He said the GOL agrees that broad and
consistent sanctions are necessary to send the correct
message from the international community to Iran. He added
that the combination of EU and GOL regulations is quite
comprehensive. He said the GOL submitted a report on UNSCR
1737 within the last several months and they will prepare
another one for UNSCR 1747 by the May 24 deadline, as
required.
