We delivered reftel points to Irena Skardziuviene, Head of
the MFA's United Nations and Council of Europe Division, on
April 25. She spoke with the GOL's delegation in New York,
who told her the question is still "far from being resolved."
She added, however, that both the GOL and the EU agree that
Samoa should graduate from Least Developed Country status and
that the sooner the issue is resolved the better.
