(SBU) On June 8, we delivered reftel points on the use
of IAEA safety standards in relation to the Joint
Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and
the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management to Riho Kruuv
Division Director for Strategic Goods Control, Tuuli
Parnsalu, Strategic Goods Desk Officer and Ketlin
Susmalainen, Desk Officer for Security Policy and Arms
Control at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Susmalainen
took the points on board and noted that Estonia finds
the IAEA Safety Standards useful when compiling its
national reports.
