Deputy Foreign Minister Todor Churov confirmed to Charge' May
14 that Bulgaria would vote for Slovenia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina for the UNHRC. Churov seemed to take
pleasure in formally conveying the government's decision,
noting both Minsk's abysmal human rights record and the fact
that Bulgaria lost out to Belarus for a seat on the ECOSOC
last year.
