(U) PolOff delivered reftel talking points on the Hamas and
Fatah agreement to Igor Ilievski, MFA State Secretary, on
February 9. Ilievski was grateful for the information but
did not have any immediate response to the points. Comment:
Macedonia has strong ties with Israel, and has in the past
supported U.S. positions on the Middle East Peace Process.
The GOM is likely to do so on this issue as well.
