1. On March 19, POLOFF delivered Reftel talking points on UN
internal administration of justice to the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. Ambassador Michelle Cohen, Dominican Chief of
United Nations and Organization of American States Affairs
(Assistant Secretary-equivalent),had no immediate reply but
took our views on board and pledged to share the demarche
with the Minister and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Cohen also asked for the dates when this issue will be voted
on in New York, which POLOFF provided. We will report any
subsequent Dominican response.
