1. INSTRAW is an unfunded UN-affiliated research
organization that has loose connections with multiple NGOs.
The
Embassy is familiar with several of the NGOs and none is
known to have the mission of promoting pedophilia. Political
officer conducted a review of NGOs affiliated with INSTRAW
and found no evidence of pro-pedophilia.
2. INSTRAW does not grant any official status,
accreditation, or recognition to any organization which
promotes and condones or seeks the legalization of pedophilia
or has subsidiaries or member organizations that do.

4. Total staff time devoted to complying with this request
