on Georgia/UNOMIG with MFA UN Desk Officer Gabriela Biondi on
July 25 per instructions in ref A. She said that Italy
concurs that Georgian and German attendance at the meeting
would be beneficial, and that Abkhazia "foreign minister"
Sergei Shamba does not belong at the meeting. Poloff left
behind points outlined in ref B, which Biondi said she would
share with the Italian Mission in New York.
