Simonetti of the UN Department of the Italian MFA on June 16.
Simonetti noted that the Italian mission in Geneva had been
apprised of the US position already and pointed out that
Italy does not yet have a vote in the UNHRC. He noted the EU
is generally in favor of keeping the country specific
rapporteurs for Belarus and Cuba and Italy would support any
EU common position.
