2. (SBU) On May 14, Poloff and Russian Political Counselor
for External Affairs Denis Grishchenko delivered reftel
demarche to Ivan Pinter, Acting Director of the United
Nations Department, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Responding to reftel points, Pinter stated that Czech Special
Coordinator on Counterterrorism Issues Ambassador Josef Braun
is unfortunately unavailable to attend the OSCE
Counterterrorism Conference and that the Czechs will be
represented by their Ambassador to the OSCE in Vienna.
