1. This is an action request.
2. On April 27, The Embassy received diplomatic note
113582/2007-OSN saying the Czech Republic endorses the
principles of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear
Terrorism and supports the objectives of the Initiative. A
copy of the diplomatic note has been faxed to EUR/NCE. The
note also states that the Czech Republic stands ready to
participate in the Initiative's third meeting in Kazakhstan
in June. At the Czechs' request Post asks that the
appropriate office send a formal invitation to the Czech
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Embassy can convey the
invitation if necessary.
