1. Poloff delivered information from reftel to Eurdice
Hofwyks, Deputy of the Head of the America's Division, in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). Hofwyks was unaware of
the upcoming annual World Health Assembly (WHA) that will
convene in Geneva, Switzerland from May 14-23, 2007. She
agreed to give information from talking points provided in
reftel to interested individuals in the MFA and the Ministry
of Health. Poloff received a call soon after from Hofwyks
assistant who said that Minister of Health Celsius Waterburg
and two advisors, Mrs. F. Nanhoe-Ganadin and Dr. Robert
Brohim would be attending the conference and she would
forward information to them before their departure. Hofwyks
said she would let us know of any further developments
regarding this matter.
