The Ministry of Foreign Relations - Directorate General of
International Organizations and Conferences - presents its
compliments to the Honorable Embassy of the United States of
America in Panama and has the honor of referring to the
candidacy of Ms. FELICE GAER, member of the United Nations
Committee Against Torture, in he elections that will be held
in Geneva, Switzerland on October, 2007.

This Ministry, in view of the existing excellent relations
between both countries, is please to inform that it has
decided to support the candidacy of Ms. Gaer as member of the
United Nations Committee Against Torture.

The Ministry of Foreign Relations - Directorate General of
International Organizations and Conferences -takes this
opportunity to reiterate to the Honorable Embassy of the
