10. Remarks: Don Bays contacted post on Wednesday, May 9, 2007
to report the possible disappearance of his son, John, reported
to be driving his father's car. The vehicle John Bays is
believed to be driving is a dark green 1993 Mazda MX-6 with
Arizona license plates 605-PCC. Mr. Bays was released from the
Perryville Arizona State Prison Complex on March 14, 2007 which
was the last time his father saw him. The last contact the
family had with Mr. Bays occurred on March 18, 2007 when his
mother saw him in Scottsdale, AZ, where they lived together. Mr.
Bays may be in the Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico, an area he is
familiar with. Conoff spoke with Don Bays on Friday, May 11 and
learned that he is planning to report his son missing to the
Scottsdale police when he returns from a trip he is currently
on. Two previous filings of Attempt to Locate reports to
Scottsdale and Mesa police He is also preparing to report his
vehicle stolen to assist authorities in locating his son. Conoff
requested a photo from Mr. Bays to provide to local authorities.
Post will contact local authorities and continue to monitor the
case.
