On November 2, Vasilis Philippou, a first secretary in the
Cypriot Foreign Ministry's Multilateral Affairs division,
informed the Embassy that the RoC had decided, after careful
consideration (Ref B),to support U.S. candidate David Walker
for the UN Independent Audit Advisory Committee (UNIAAC).
