1.(S) The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Argentine Embassy
in Kingston, Ramon Corvera, told PolOff on the afternoon of
November 1 that his Government was approaching both the
Government of Jamaica (GoJ) and the Government of the Bahamas
(GoB) (for which the Argentine Embassy in Kingston is
responsible) to request that their respective representatives
attending the INTERPOL General Assembly support issuance of
"red notices" against the Iranian officials. (Note: Jamaica
will be represented at the General Assembly by Deputy
Commissioner of Police Charles Scarlett. End Note.)
