1. This is an action request.


2. In order to comply with Leahy vetting requirements, this cable
forwards the names and biodata of 38 police officers from Kunduz,
Baghlan, and Takhar provinces. These individuals have been selected
for a regional Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP). When there
are individuals with one name, Post has made a good faith effort to
ensure that these individuals actually only have one name. Post
requests Department's review of these candidates and response by
December 30, 2007.


3. INL has conducted in-country vetting and possesses no evidence of
human rights violations on the below-named individuals.
