1. Poloff delivered demarche on Promoting Transparency and
Accountability at the UNDP on June 12 to Jacqueline Hamer,
Director of Multilateral and Global Affairs at Guyana's
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms. Hamer thanked us for the
information and stated that she would forward it to Guyana's
representatives at the UN in New York. Ms. Hamer further
added that the MFA appreciated all of the information that we
have passed to them, stating that her office was very small
and did not always have the capability to keep current on all
international issues.
