1. Guyana: Charge raised the UNCAC and UNTOC April 19 with
MFA Director General Elisabeth Harper and MFA Acting Director
for Americas and Asia Audrey Wadell. Harper said the Cabinet
sub-committee on governance discussed the UNCAC the week
before. Wadell was aware of the UNTOC questionaires and said
the MFA is trying to trace them. She had not been able to
determine whether the GoG had received the questionaires and
is considering asking the UNODC to resend them. After
receiving the questionaires, Harper and Wadell will consider
the offer of assistance in completing them.


2. CARICOM: DCM raised the UNCAC and UNTOC April 24 with
CARICOM Assistant Secretary General Colin Granderson who said
CARICOM would pass the points along to member states.
