Following is a response for Sierra Leone, keyed to reftel.


A. (SBU) Computerized immigration Databases:
Sierra Leone does not utilize a computerized immigration
database tracking entry and exits in the country, either at
the airport or at land and sea borders.


B. (SBU) Watchlist and Information System:
Sierra Leone does not use a name-based watchlist system to
screen travelers at ports of entry.


C. (SBU) Biometrics:
Biometric Systems at air, land and sea borders and future
planning: None
Biometric Technologies in Use in Sierra Leone: None
Machine Readable Passports:
Sierra Leone issues Machine Readable passports, but they do
not contain biometric identification. Sierra Leone currently
has no plans to issue biometric documents.


D. (C) Appropriate Partners:
Sierra Leone does not have the resources currently to be an
appropriate partner. While they have been willing to
coordinate on name searches in the past, there is no
electronic system in place that would be appropriate for
reliable information sharing.
