1. (S) According to contacts, the Government of Guinea (GoG)
sent two delegates to the Interpol General Assembly in
Marrakech, Morocco, which included Guinea's Chief of
Interpol. In response to reftel request, DCM contacted
counterparts at the Brazilian, German and U.K. embassies
regarding Argentina's request to persuade Guinea to recommend
issuance of six Red Notices for Iranian officials charged in
the Amia bombing. None of these embassies were aware of the
demarche or planned to discuss the issue with the GoG.
2. (SBU) On November 5, poloff mentioned key talking points
to Aboubacar Demba Camara, the Assistant Director of
Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
DCM is scheduled to meet with the Director of Political

length. MFA has not offered any substantive comments, but
Embassy will advise of MFA response following the November 6
