Brigadier General Andras Szucs and MFA Security Policy
Department Deputy Vilmos Hamikus will represent the
Government of Hungary (GOH) at the Coalition Conference in
Tampa. Poloff and Airat delivered reftel invitation and
information to MFA and MOD contacts on 25 April. According
to Mr. Hamikus, State Secretary for Security Policy Udvardi
personally directed Hamikus to represent the MFA at the
conference. Hamikus added his opinion that General Szucs is
the "right choice" from the MOD and indicated that
representation at a higher level in either ministry is
"unlikely."
