NOTE NO.PE-046/2007
The Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and
Civil Aviation of Saint Lucia presents its compliments to the
Embassy of the United States of America in Bridgetown, and
has the honour to transmit the following condolence message
from the Minister for External Affairs, International Trade
and Civil Aviation of Saint Lucia, Honourable Rufus Bousquet,
to the Government and People of the United States of America.
QUOTE:
The Government and People of Saint Lucia express heartfelt
condolences to the Government and People of the United States
of America, during this time of grief over the death of
former President Gerald R. Ford.
The Government and People of Saint Lucia are certain that the
mourning period of this loss will culminate in the reassuring
knowledge that his contributions to the future of the United
States of America has had a positive effect globally and that
his legacy will continue to live on.
UNQUOTE
The Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and
