1. Per reftel A instructions, additional points on the Deportee
Reintegration Pilot Program were delivered by fax under cover of
Diplomatic Note #1274 to the Government of Barbados on November 9,
2007. Per reftel B instructions, demarche regarding the signing of
the Deportee Reintegration IOM signing was delivered to the
Government of Barbados by fax under cover of Diplomatic Note #1023
on October 17, 2007.
2. Embassy Bridgetown has also requested meetings with Permanent
Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, the Permanent Secretary in the
SIPDIS
Ministry of Social Transformation, and the Head of the Consular
Division in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Post will report the outcomes of these meetings.
