1. In response to ref A request, Embassy Bridgetown has
identified a number of women who hold leadership positions
and have been influential in their countries and the region.
Some, like Barbados' Dame Billie Miller, the Minister of
Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Carol Jacobs, Chair of the Board of
the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, have
also made important contributions internationally.
