REF: LASKARIS-SMITH EMAIL
1. On August 14, the Charge, along with the Russian and Portuguese
(EU President) Ambassadors and German Charge, orally delivered the
Troika's points in ref to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
With the Foreign Minister on vacation, the delegation was received
by State Secretary Radojko Bogojevic. The Portuguese Ambassador

2. Bogojevic thanked the Chiefs of Mission for their presentation
and said he was encouraged by the "positive tone and optimism" of
the Troika. He said the Troika was proving to be a "better

he would inform the Troika, through the Portuguese Embassy, who
would represent the GOS in Vienna on August 30 as soon as possible.
