Rodham Clinton to Vice Premier Wu Yi regarding Dr. Gao 
Yaojie's house arrest to MFA North American Affairs 
officer Teng Chen February 10. Poloff underscored 
that the United States Government, including Congress, 
attaches great importance to the matter and that we 
hope the MFA can play a productive role in finding a 
positive solution to Dr. Gao's case. Teng said she 
has no new information to share on the subject but 
promised to immediately pass Senator Clinton's letter 
to the relevant authorities.
